Follow our adventure from Spain to Australia aboard my Class 40 racing boat, First Light. We left A Coruña on 1 December intending to complete the voyage non-stop around the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Leeuwin. Unfortunately we hit a submerged object in the dead of night forcing us to make a quick pit stop in Cape Verde. We are now back on our way and heading into the Southern Ocean.
